Description: I designed a custom invitation for the Buchtel College of Arts and Sciences’ fourth annual college reception under the direction of my professor and art director of our student studio, Design x Nine. The design reflects the college’s distinguished reputation through refined details and symbolic visual elements.
The folded card features a die-cut arch on the front, referencing the university’s iconic campus arch. Through the cutout, guests see the invitation message, with the university seal and college president’s name highlighted in gold foil. Layered photography and illustration on the front evoke a sense of celebration and community while maintaining a formal tone.
Inside, the design balances function and storytelling—event details are presented on the right, while the left showcases imagery from key areas of BCAS. The invitation combines custom finishes and thoughtful design to create a piece that feels both meaningful and elevated.
